The Office of Financial and Academic Affairs for Higher Education provides consumer protection for students and potential students at private occupational schools and hospital-based schools in Connecticut.  Schools which meet statutory requirements are approved to operate in Connecticut by the Executive Director of the Office of Financial and Academic Affairs.
